In 1981. I was 19, he was 56. Died of cancer. I remember watching out the kitchen window as he walked to the car with a cane so mom could take him to the hospital and start morphine. Couldn’t stand the pain anymore. I agree with lone wolf, I learned everything the hard way with no one to ask questions. I wish he could come back for a day.
