| Easiest way to lower the number of deaths from mass shootings is to change the definition of mass shooting. That's the inverse of how you are getting these numbers. If we stuck with the FBI definition of mass murder those numbers instead of the standard that mother Jones popularized to make the problem seem much worse than it was, then we could have an honest conversation on that level. Part of the problem is that some of these people have found the meaning of their life in killing others, I'd argue that this is most of them. Figure out how to give meaning of life to those who can't seem to see it anywhere else and you'll solve the issue. The guns, or Ford Explorers are just a tool. | |
