There are three ways to argue in classical Greek literature: Logos, ethos and pathos.

Logos is where one tries to win an argument by appeal to logic, facts and reason.

Ethos is where one tries to win an argument by appeal or high morals and laudable behavior.

Pathos is where one tries to win an argument by appeal to emotion.

When your type lose your attempts to win by "logos," because your facts are wrong (usually because you lack the work ethic to go develop and study the facts for yourself, instead following talking points from a some organization that wants to hand out 'debate points' to their members), you pivot to "pathos" and trying to win an argument by appealing to emotion.

Been there, seen that, not going to let you off the hook. You wanted to start this debate with a reference to mass shootings. Now that you've been busted for conflating facts, you're going to try to pivot to what is known in logic as "argumentum ad miserecordiam"  or an appeal to pity or misery. Sorry, but this logical fallacy has been identified for nearly 200 years now.

Got it. And just for reference, how many mirrors do you own?
