Washington Co Ks | I lost some of the land that I was renting and a year later I had a kidney removed in March. Not knowing what I was going to be able to do that year I gave up the rest of my rented ground. I farmed my own for a couple of years and then had pneumonia three times in two years and decided that I had better give up farming altogether. I made more renting my ground out than I did farming it the last year. Part of that was very good yields. I kept a tractor and loaded a few other pieces of equipment to keep me busy. I've built fences, worked on some terraces, tore down a couple of buildings, and repaired others. So far I have no regrets.
