Dont have to be 65 to quit. I know lots that quit in their 50s and sold out.
Financially, I'd be quitting right now if I was thinking about it. Record land prices and interest rates will be on the rise. Sell, pay the taxes, wait a little bit once interest rates double twice and lock it in forever. Live off the interest easily And with proper planning ahead of time, your new entity can sell and not pay the taxes. At least here in the US.
