Central Kansas | Man, I've heard it all now...................the cleaning fan cooling the engine! As dirty and chaffey as it gets in that area, I'd bet it would plug the "radiator" in a heatbeat.
And to think this all started with the question concerning the centering of the operators station! We've been all over this combine, from where to put the engine for balance in relationship to a offset header, left or right hand unload auger, cleaning fan radiator, etc. I wonder if anyone ever tried to design the grain tank that would "staddled" the combine to keep the center of gravity lower? | |
