Subject: Gleaner has already kinda . . .

Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

sorta, accidently backed into offsetting the headers again if you mount an aftermarket draper on one.

The rotary seeders have always had the feeder house offset to the right. On their headers, they have offset the mounting and throat so the header sits centered on the machine. There is no other way to do it with a transverse mounted rotor, and it works OK but you need to add suitcase weights to one side of the header so it is more balanced and doesn't twist the feeder house as much. When the drapers came on the scene, they all have the throat centered on the head. Mount it on a Gleaner with the adapter kit and it will be centered on the feeder house but offset on the machine, which gives the unloading auger a bit more room.
