Stay with the Limousin. We used to breed our Angus cows to Charolais strictly for the bigger calves, but about the time we were getting out was when the Angus craze was taking off. After feeding different breeds, I can tell you that I would want nothing to do with Simmentals. Yuck. Flighty bastards always pointing their noses in the air looking to run and for another fence to climb. If I were getting back into cows, which I may at some point here, I would breed them to Limis. That's the future. Hard to deny April 5th calves weighing 800lbs in November.
