I need to be very upfront and let you know i know dang little about cattle in general but will give you my observations from the hand full i raise as locker beefs.

Limo's are very feed efficient and will yield grade well. Really no problem hitting #1 select w/them. Some pedigree's might get you to choice w/more feed. As far as attitude i can tell you that the weaned limo's i buy are no different in attitude than the neighbor that buys 4 legged calves regardless of color. Might be a different issue if you finished your own calves don't know. My personal preference for finishing and selling is a full limo or 3/4 limo 1/4 english. half-half's don't do as well.

Maybe you want to change cows but i wouldn't change from a limo bull - just me though. I really could careless about cattle...i feed'm and sell'm. If i didn't like beef so much i wouldn't even mess w/them.
