Nance County, Ne | You know Rich about ten years ago dad and I would sit in the sale barns and buy up them rat tail calves very cheap. We would run them on grass during the summer and in fall put them on feed. Those calves made us some money then and I didn't think they finished out that bad. We still get a few of those with our herd but it's not a big problem as dad finishes his calves out. Lil bro and I sell our calves in the first part of Jan. and there are any rat tails we keep them back for dad to feed. | |
