Excellent posts. Often we don't consider folks farmers because they're not using large tillage and planting equipment, and not running a combine or forage harvester over the ground to get the crops off. Ag has numerous sectors, however the most visible and poignant is the grain/dairy/livestock production. They definitely spend the most $$$ on equipment and inputs over the course of a season as a collective whole, but that doesn't minimize the other sectors of ag that easily get overlooked.... An open mind often keeps a foot out of the mouth.....
