Subject: The future of agriculture

Eastern Ohio
If you guys don't mind I would like to hear your thoughts on all the consolidation in livestock production that drove the small guy out of buisness. Now if the small family farmer or the guy just starting out wants into the livestock buisness he becomes a contract grower for the bigger guy. It seems to have started with egg production then pork production while takeing out the small dairy farmer. Would you guys agree with that? How many of you were forced out of the buisness you were in? I think this is bad for everyone but is the way everything is going. Huge corps that require everyone to work for the man and do it there way. I really think grain production is next on the choping block and one day if were still here we will see farming companys of 100 thousand acres or more doing most of the food production in the USA. It will truly be a sad time. Thanks for reading my mixed thoughts and I would really like to hear how everyone else feels about this subject.
