Conger, MN | The problem in many areas is that if you don't allow parent coaches, you will not get any coaches . . . or the options will be very limited.
I agree it is best to have non parent coaches, but that is no always possible.
In the association I was most involved with, the Board sought out and utilized non-family coaches as the preferred option. However, family coaches were not prohibited until the 13/14 age group.
