Southeast WI | With the wealth of knowledge we have seen presented over the past 20 years on CTE it is quite interesting we continue to see such a huge push to have our kids participate in football. Basically at any level but definitely for kids below the high school level. I played in HS, got my bell rung a few times as a freshman/sophomore and while I loved the sport now looking back it probably isn't the best thing to do to young kids.
There's many lessons we can teach our children but the most perplexing one to me has been the one on how to follow a crowd and be like the rest. This is what sports does. Nothing more nothing less. Don't make it out to be more than that.
