Held our oldest out of tackle and have had him play flag football. Plan is to have him play tackle this year as a 6th grader so he has one year of tackle before 7th grade.
Soccer has a high rate of concussions as well and they playing that as soon as kids can walk. Having them race motocross and snocross is dangerous as well. Not sure what is the safest or best for kids.
