Should't you be busy packing for a trip to Orlando to help piss away millions of dollars of producer checkoff money at the Natonal Corporate Beef Association convention? While you are there maybe you can buy a drink (though producers are probably paying for that also) for Jason Clay of the World Wildlife Fund. Are they having him as the keynote speaker again? Maybe you can enlighten us peons on how great it is to have our money spent to be The Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef as they plan to dictate to each an every producer how they MUST produce cattle or loose market access. And mandatory ID is the first step in that.

Identifying American cattle isn't that hard. Did it while producers enjoyed the best real dollar prices ever ten years ago. If it comes across the border (with the help and permission of the Mexican drug cartels in the case of Mexican cattle) then it isn't born raised and harvested in the US.
