Alpena MI | Not that big of deal, really. We’re up here in permit country where our cattle are tb tested annually. Not that big of deal either in the grand scheme of things. We have to test before getting a movement permit to move feeders or any animal not going to slaughter. Usually a weeks notice is needed to get that all squared away, but so far hasn’t been a problem either. None of this has an out of pocket cost to us, but we aren’t calving, just buying feeders and fattening, or buying single feeders, getting them cleaned up up and sending them out in a group. | |
