So you Michigan guys have spent $2 on every bovine you've sold since 2007, have you got a return on your investment?
I don't know. We've spent $1 a head on the checkoff. Have we made a return on that? Are buyers more confident in our cattle than in those that aren't source verified? It's all speculation. All I know is, to the best of my knowledge, nobody's gone out of business because of it. Like I said, it gives me peace of mind.
