I haven't heard any talk about that lately. It was not covered at the area meeting and they did talk about some organic and some antibiotic free meat packaging they were working on. I'll ask the local buyer what the status is on berks.
I did get a call from my buyer on Thur. last regarding the use of paylean. He wanted to know if I used it or intend to use it. I don't and don't intend to but it seems that a lot of product from the Denison plant goes to China currently and the use of paylean is not preferred in their product. If I were to use paylean I need to notify the buyer of any group it was fed to. Interesting, huh? | |
