Alton, Ia | What's stopping you? At most decent sized grocery stores there should be available niche pork, raised the way you want it. Go ahead and pay the 30-40% more for it. Put your money where your mouth is.
I'm involved in both kinds. Commodity push to max type and let em' root around in the straw type. There's a market and cost of production to both.
Pork production is at all time record highs, so I'd say you don't know what you're talking about.
