Burgessville, Ontario | As much as you think Leica is targeting trimble - I presume they are have bigger things in mind. Leica has identified a growth market and thinks it has a product that can compete in that market. Time will tell how their product fares and what pressures it will put on other products out there. The net result for agriculture is that there will be better products in the market due to the competition.
As a dealer I always get a good chuckle from all the numbers that get floated out there of what is sold for precision agriculture. The "market share" of the products(including the ones I sell) add up to 200 plus % of the market. We add Leica to the picture and by the end of 2008 we should be at 240% :).
