I went to school for Finance, I would suggest even if your son isn't interested in school he go to ag or tech school to get away and learn some useful skills. If not that at least then go out and work someplace for a while, a harvest run would be useful, maybe use NAT to find a job with a farmer in another area. Work for a COOP or find an agronomy guy to help/learn from for a summer. Get out and be exposed to the world a little and learn some different skills or ideas that eventually help back home. Best yet, send him over to Gifford or some of the other older fellows for a summer, alot of that knowledge you don't find many places anymore.
