Subject: RE: So how many highly educated farmers are here

West Union, Illinois

It is very important one's schooling not interfere with one's education.  I have an Associates degree from a vocational school.  I've taken night classes, workshops, and seminars off and on for 35 years.  Futures trading, computers (keep in mind I am old enough that we had basic computer classes to get us to the point today's average 10 year old is at), salesmanship, sales management, Sunday School teaching, church leadership, on and on ... none toward a degree, but for information and education.  I find especially in night classes the biggest benefit was not the formal education but the interaction with other folks who were motivated to learn..
