New Mexico | magic of the numbers game.
I figure it takes $125 per cow labor/management...no matter where one runs em, the PEOPLE need paid.
Cows are simply a jobs source...and it takes 1 person per 250 to 300 cows generally, sooo that's say $36,000 total annually.
The rest of it...depends on the area....some areas rent ranches year around for $80 total per cow, some it takes $155 per cow.
Fairest, easiest way is to figure a value...lock it in for the land owner, explain all the other costs...and SPLIT the Ups annually.
Takes another $100 per cow in the SW for cake, vac's, fuel, ...ie hard cash expenses.
