Yeah it's floodplain. There's always going to be water problems. We've just been lucky that we haven't had any real big rains lately. The last couple years have been nice.
It's weird that the flood plain shows it like that, because that's not at all how the water actually sits/pools on the properties.
I made my own little drawing of where the water seems to sit for awhile (outside of my backflowing tile).
