We didn't do a very good job wrapping the operation up from a tax savings standpoint.
Of course decisions made at 30 years old do not always line up as being the best decision for when 65 years old. A lot changes in that time. Some expectations are not met, some vastly exceeded.
But in the end, the important thing is it worked out ok, or in our case vastly better than we ever imagined at 30. Some things were a failure. But enough turned out way better than ok to end up very nice.
