I’m in a similar situation. My kids don’t seem to want to farm. I’m giving up all my rented ground. Putting everything I own back into hay and pasture. I’ll probably get a few more cows when prices drop. the stress of grain farming with all the other things I have going on was getting pretty hard on me. I know I’ll have some tax issues since I’m paying off most of my debt.
Anyone downsize their farm operation? How did it go?
