Farm everything thats close even if it's rented next door and owned is a ways away. The nicest land to work is the stuff right beside the yard. Dont have to haul trucks out to field and get a ride back.

Know 2 guys that own land they've never farmed. 16 miles away for one guy,310a, and another guy is 8 miles for 100acres
