Good bulls are good bulls and efficient cattle are efficient regardless of diet. Those short fat “grass finish “ types aren’t more efficient forage converters necessarily. Leachman had an ad awhile back that had a couple that was heavy and it asked “Are they efficient or just big eaters?”. Something to ponder anyway.
