buckmaster - 3/7/2024 09:05 I agree, they have cattle today made for grain they do grow in a feedlot. Angus cows are made for a feed wagon full of silage. Out on grass raising a calf not so much. Good to hear someone speak the truth. Thank you. There are good grass genetics around in the Hereford breed but you have to look for them and stay away from anything with a show ribbon. Mostly if you want a grass herd you have to build a grass herd. This is also why it is hard for folks to believe me when I post pictures of my "grass" herd.
