Crete - 1/16/2024 17:13 Do you bale and wrap corn silage?

My initial reply was to Union Swiss.

Never had anything to do with corn silage.

I’d love for you and Garvo to put pencil to paper and prove to me how for 40 cow calf pairs I can make chopping cheaper than wrapping.   NONE AS IN ZERO of the local cow calf guys chop.    Must be a reason.   NOT EVERYONE CATTLEMAN RUNS A FEEDLOT.

Actually, how can a person pay for a silage baler and wrapper for 40 cows, or do you have it custom wrapped? Asking because that’s around the size of my cow herd and when I was looking at the equipment to do it, the equipment was very expensive. I was even looking at used balers and wrappers.
