Ontario | I'd add buying right to that list of cost savings that can cost more as well, I've learned the hard way a couple times now that buying a POS baler or other piece of equipment can end up costing you more than you saved over buying something a bit better.
I'm in an area myself where its pretty easy to grow high quality forages as well, I've had luck selling off a bunch of my high quality alfalfa, replacing it with cheaper hay and pocketing the difference. | |
