I’m really enjoying this thread. It blows me away that I asked this exact same question some years back and I got flamed for trying to pinch Pennies, and got no constructive ideas whatsoever, but only advice to expand if what I’m doing isn’t penciling out,

Maybe there’s a silver lining to this inflation, now, this year I’m NOT the only one that wants to continue to find ways to positively cashflow .

Lots of good info here. The only advice I got on my thread was to quit feeding licktubs if I hadn’t already.

My advice is to separate yourself from machinery, trucks, vehicles, heating large spaces, etc as much as possible. I’m selling 30% of my machinery this year and hope to let livestock do more harvesting for me, grass, covers, etc. there is certainly a need for these things, but many of us are paying for a lot more than we need. Implement dealers and agronomists are NOT going to stop buying platinum pickups for their staff to drive.

Thanks for posting,
