Never have been able to be as low cost as I want. But the main thing for me is to not tie up a lot of dollars in iron that we don’t use very many days of the year. But don’t be afraid to spend on the items you use all of the time. We have a nice payloader, feedwagon and tractor for it and a nice shed for them but they get used every day and have to work. Not getting your work done when it needs done is the most costly thing I can see. It’s not only costs the gain but then you might miss your targets on sales too because of it. If you have trouble doing something well, don’t be afraid to custom hire it and not own the equipment needed to do it.
