There was a wealthy individual that had a heart attack and made it a personal mission to change what people ate in the way of fats. He was a big proponent of getting rid of animal fats and promoting vegetable oils. He spent a lot of personal money in the misguided mission to get McDonald's to change and change they eventually did.
