Funny how tastes change. Now meat that is too lean is more unappetizing.
The odd thing is, eating fat has very little to do with fat (triglycerides) in the bloodstream. Actually carbs are what raises the triglycerides. The Steve Phinney presentation points out the relationship from a randomized controlled trial researcher Jeff Volek ran. Exactly opposite of what we were taught and thought. The old "fat makes you fat" mantra came from "expert opinion" of the day, not from rigorous research.
