. I almost always clean my plate. I wish I didn't, but not to the point that I will stop. Merry Christmas to all.
I sat at the table with mom, dad, grandpa, hired man and the six of us kids. You only took what you could eat and cleaned your plate. IF there was anything left after my mom (last person) took what she wanted, you could have 'seconds'. The dog was lucky to get any table scraps.
Hard not to clean up my plate yet today. Bugs me when I see grandkids tossing food away (especially meat), but a different world today.
