Near-north Ontario, French River | The customer only sees the what, not the how though, and generally exaggerate things. A customer will complain about an excessive wait, and its no doubt a valid complaint, but unless they understand the why behind the wait is their opinion of the system beyond the 'it takes too long' complaint really valid? I mean, we read in this thread that some folks wait up to a year for a MRI for a bad knee, others get an MRI is days or even hours. The question should be why the huge disparity? To say everything is a wreck because one patient waited a year, or that everything is peachy because one patient waited a couple hours doesn't really help fix any real or perceived problems. I suppose one could throw up the explain of a US patient having the wrong leg amputated during surgery as an example that the entire US system is a mess.... personally, I don't think that's a fair interpretation either. |
