Eastern ON | On one hand it is nice to have surgery and walk out the door with no paperwork or insurance following you. On the other, you are also paying for Joe who weighs 465lb and has smoked his whole life and goes to appointments weekly. Maybe it's un Christian of me to think I shouldn't have to pay that....
I don't think doctors and nurses make enough money here either , they always seem to go south after school so they're always short staffed and wait times are horrible. Ottawa had 18 hour emergency care wait times this week. Imagine the condition of your local hospital depending almost entirely on government money. | |
