Its a no brainer... Rotary is so much better... We ran sickles for years then finally 4 years ago i got dad to buy a 4995 JD and he loves the thing 9mph good cut unless the alfalfa is on the ground then nothing will cut it good... 4995jd is a good machine we have not had one problem just change the knifes as needed...
