| Don't take this the wrong way, but disc mowers (rotary) have been out for.....20-25 years now. I would have thought that everyone who is in the hay business would have seen a rotary mower or know of someone who has one.
I know in some situations ( thin crops, extremely fussy people ), sickle mowers are still preferred, but rotary mowers are just so much smoother and faster to run. Sure they will take more power then a sickle, but your also going at least 2-4 mph faster. | |
