Have ran a 1431 for the last 6 seasons and absolutly love it. Smooth and long fields a disc mower really performs. I think they cut as good as a sicklebar, but can really tell when the knives start getting dull. Disc mowers do not like rocks, so if you do any custom cutting, or have alot of rocks be sure to get on with the shear hubs... saves you money and time.
