Subject: RE: house basement cost

Northeast Indiana (Auburn)
My basement is about a 45 foot square with 9' walls. My garage is 32'X42' with 4' deep formed footers. I have $47,000 in it. This included lifting my 121 year old house up 2' and digging out the old basement and going down another 2'. This was started July of 2008 and finnished four weeks later. All of the concrete and excavating work was hired. When you get your house done have closed cell foam sprayed 1" thick on the bos sills down 1' on the concrete. It will cost you about $500 but sure will make your basement air tight.
