Woodbury county | Have a neighbor that built a new house four years ago and used the insulated concrete forms for his basement walls. My wife and I built a new house five years ago and had the basement walls formed and poured the old fashioned way. My neighbor says he absolutely would never use the insulated concrete forms again.......says his walls are crooked and has several cracks showing up......and mice must be a common problem because he says something is eating the insulation on the outside of his house. The contractor that poured our basement walls for a short time got into the insulated concrete form method and said he never had so many complaints from home owners about their walls......said they had enough of insulated concrete walls. | |
