I took the row cleaners off my bean planter a couple years ago(15" splitter setup)and just ran the no-till openers because I didn't like the way it windrowed all that trash. Front rows throw it all to the center, then the rear rows have to deal with all that and throw it all back over the just planted front rows. I really didn't have any problems dealing with cornstalks when I cut beans. I always run the cornhead down most the way so I don't have tall stalks to deal with when planting.
