Good point Jim. I can believe it. For the first time this year I tried splitting the rows no tilling 15" row beans into 30" row corn stalks. (picture attached) When it came harvest time, these stalks were still standing. The remaining stalks caused a bit of a mess combining beans. A lot more trash and dirt went through the machine than I would care for. I'm going to have to make some adjustments next time on my bean planting, most likely in regards to row cleaners run on the splitter rows as well as lowering the ones on the front "corn planter" rows to get the stalks knocked down.
I like the stalks standing in winter to catch snow, but think they need to be addressed.
Can certainly see where it would be an issue with CC or CCC.
