Subject: Darn it anyway!!!

Mid Michigan
I think I got shut down on my idea of flying on our wheat. I was all pumped up and they called back and left a message that they are pretty much done with wheat for the year. Our beans were just getting yellow, there is moisture in the ground and I had a line on some seed. They are out of the office until monday and they may change their mind and do it but more than likely I am SOL. I am bummed. I wanted to try this. I guess if conditions are right I will haul out the old drill and do it the old way. This is right in mid michigan and I was going to use Als Aerial spraying out of Ovid. They have been doing it for years. The way it sounded you had to have an appointment ahead of time. Kind of like a haircut I guess. No walk ins allowed! They are probably only 5 minutes as the crow flies from our house. I could have had them land in our wheat stubble from this year if they wanted too. Darn it. Maybe next year.
