Western EC Iowa | The ones we have are only for the end rows and they each have a motor. They were hooked into the variable speed for the bean platform(I think, I guess I didn't install them) and also have a variable valve like you see on the vittetoe chaff spreaders. Maybe we had them installed wrong, every post I have seen about them is positive, should prally give them another try. By the way, we used two 8 row machines in 04 and opted to move to an 8 and 12 this time around, will put reels on both. Should save a bunch of fuel and hours on both machines. Our experience in 04 was one direction and deadhead back(couldn't even unload on the run), this year the N-S rows should be both ways, but the E-W will be one way.
