Illinois, in the late 90's and the early 2000's had a lot of down corn. From my experience I would recommend running the 12 row with a corn reel on it. You may only be able to pick 10rows at a time but from what I've seen the more rows you have the better. It is a SLOOOOooooooow process! be patient and BE SAFE! As long as the machine is moving forward (no matter how slow) you are getting closer to being done.
