I was wondering if an 8 row corn head would pick up lodged corn better than a 12 row head if they were both new poly heads. Also, is a reel worth the money. Had severe winds flatten lots of acres last night and was already contemplating harvest problems. If I have to slow down to 2 or 3 mph to get the corn in the head I would rather run the 12 row unless the 12 row will pile up worse.
